Free table tennis bracket generator

Type one player name per line and get a single-elimination tournament bracket in one click. Seeds are spread across the draw, byes are handled automatically, and there is nothing to install and no account to create.

This bracket maker runs on the same draw engine that powers live tournaments in PingPong Arena: the top seeds land in opposite halves, and when your player count isn't a power of two, the byes go to the highest seeds — standard tournament practice.

Everything happens in your browser; the names you type never leave your device. Print the bracket for the wall, or copy it as text and paste it into the group chat.

Draw order

How it works

  1. Enter one player name per line — duplicate names get numbered automatically.
  2. Choose the draw order: keep your lines as the seeding, or let the tool shuffle for a random draw.
  3. Hit “Generate bracket”: top seeds are placed in opposite halves, and byes go to the top seeds when the field isn't exactly 4, 8, 16, 32 …
  4. Print the bracket, or copy it as text for the group chat — and when you want live scoring, run it in PingPong Arena.

Frequently asked questions

Is this bracket generator really free?

Yes. No account, no signup, no download — the generator runs entirely in your browser and the names you enter never leave your device.

How are byes handled?

The draw is padded to the next power of two (4, 8, 16, 32 …) and the empty slots become byes. They are placed against the highest seeds — so seed 1 gets the first bye — and bye winners advance straight into round 2.

Can I use it for sports other than table tennis?

Yes. A single-elimination bracket is universal — it works just as well for darts, badminton, chess, or a FIFA night. It's built by table tennis tournament software, but the bracket doesn't care.

What if I want live scoring and automatic advancement?

That's PingPong Arena itself: create a free event, add the same players, and every phone becomes a scoreboard — points, standings, and results update live, and the bracket advances on its own.
